438 lb Man to Run In Boston Marathon

A rather large fellow (politically correct) from Wisconsin plans to lose 100 lbs and run in the Boston Marathon after only three months training and is chronicling his progress on his blog.

So far the well wishers that have posted on his website are slightly outnumbered by the death wishers. All I can say is that he’s sure got a lot of guts. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Forrest Gump once said, “And for no particular reason I started running…” Well that’s not me. I’m no Forrest Gump. I hate running. My name is Jacob and I’m running the Boston Marathon. And to answer your obvious question, no this is not a joke.

I predict that he’ll attempt to run/walk just as far as the nearest Dunkin Donuts and calculate a high probability that he’ll have a heart attack before he even makes it that far.

You can follow his training and progress on his website, WhatWouldJacobDo.com.

I would love to see a movie of his deathwise, set to the song “Why does my heart feel so bad”, by Moby. That would be fricking hilarious.

I meant deathwish of course. I hate late nights and no coffee.

Man, he is big! I hope that he signs some sort of medical release to hold Boston Marathon harmless in the event some really bad happens.
