Just so I don’t get any hate mail from the serious manualists among you, the proper term for this technique is manualism, and not hand farting.

Yeah this technique is called manualism. But just so you don’t get insults from them either, the technique that consist in doing it with your ass is called “analism” and the musicians are called “analists”, just so you know….
