Controversial Dolce & Gabbana Ad
This provocative ad for Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana ran in the March issue of Esquire and some European publications, but was pulled, following protests.

D&G are known for their risque clothes and advertising and according to Domenico Dolce the image is artistic and was meant to “recall an erotic dream, a sexual game.”
Protesters complained that the ad depicted rape and was demeaning to women. Spain’s Labour and Social Affairs Ministry said in a statement, “One could infer from the advertisement that it is acceptable to use force as a way of imposing oneself on a woman, reinforced by the passive and complicit manner of the men looking on.”
Would these same people also demand the removal of the famous paintings that depict rape from the Louvre?
Personally, I think the photo is hot, although I think it would be more appropriate for advertising body oil.
Oh and, nice shoes.
