God Responsible for Massacre at Virginia Tech, Says Pastor Fred Phelps
Although I usually like to interject a little humor into my posts — even the ones about serious subjects — what you’re about to read is not intended to be humorous in any way. I tried, but I just can’t find anything funny about it.
If you think the religious zealots in the Middle East are insane, wait until you hear what this good Christian man has to say.
According to Pastor Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church, Monday’s horrible massacre at Virginia Tech, leaving 33 dead, was sanctioned by God. The following was taken from his website, God Hates America.
Why did this happen, you ask? It’s simple. On April 16, 2007, this nation, through the offices of your military and conspirators therewith took a shot at the servants of God — your marksman was limp and lame and he had terror all around, so he did a lousy job. But what you get for your trouble is that your God shot at you! The LORD your God sent a crazed madman to shoot at your children, and he didn’t miss. Get this straight — God sent this South Korean madman to kill 31 of your children at Virginia Tech. Was God asleep while this took place? Was He on vacation? Of course not. He willed this to happen to punish you for assailing His servants.
Phelps also claims the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center was an act of God. “On September 11, 2001, God Almighty struck the United States of America with the worst terrorist attack in her history.”
Phelps has this to say about a few of the people he claims are burning in hell.
Gerald Ford’s long personal nightmare has just begun. Even now, “hell from beneath is moved to meet” him, and it “hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations” (Is. 14:9).
The Amish children from Pennsylvania are even now in hell. Stop spreading the lie that they were innocent. They were just as degenerate and deserving of hell as the pervert who killed them.
Coretta Scott King is in hell with her husband, and no amount of caterwauling or glorifying her whoredoms will change that fact. She kicked the righteous blacks off the Freedom Train to make room for her feces eating fag friends, and God will never forgive her for it.
Your precious West Virginia coal miners are in hell, America! You wailed and cried crocodile tears to God while you thought there was some hope they would be recovered, and as soon as they were all dead, you said what you really thought — there is no God! Guess what? GOD KILLED THE COAL MINERS!
Pope John Paul II, the Great Pedophile Pope, is in hell. No burning candles, no indulgences, and no prayers to Mary will change that. The new Pope Benedict, Pope of the Great Whore, will burn in hell with him shortly.
Ronald Reagan is in HELL. The Church of the LORD Jesus Christ will not sit silently by while you maudlin haters of God try to preach this senile old fool into heaven.
Before you continue, I warn you that the following may quite possibly be the most offensive thing you’ve ever read.
George W. Bush has been suckered into a bloody war that God is using to punish this filthy nation, and your children are being blown to smithereens as that punishment.

I’m confident that if there is a Hell, Pastor Fred Phelps will spend eternity burning in it, but why wait? Someone with a can of lighter fluid and a match should give him a head start.

As sad and ridiculous as his comments are they don’t surprise me. Christian leaders love to use the supposed wrath of God to try and scare people into following their words.
Pat Robertson made the following statement to a Pennsylvania town after they voted to not teach Creationism in their science classrooms. “If there is a disaster in your area, don’t turn to God. You just voted God out of your city.”

Its amazing how “Satan” (aka the evil in humanity) will operate through people like this. He has no concept that he himself is the most evil type of person. A hypocrite that uses fear and mysticism to back up some arcane ideologies.
The fact that there are still people like this in the world does not surprise me, but I am relatively happy that most Americans think he is a lunatic with completely misplaced morals.

Has it ever occurred to Phelps and others like him, that Jesus spent more man-hours of his earthly ministry serving people, rather than judging them? If Phelps is the Christian he says he is, let’s see him implement Luke Ch. 19 - the story of Zaccheus’ encounter with Jesus.

Search YouTube for Fred Phelps if you want to see more videos that will either make you angry or laugh your ass off. His daughter is a piece of work too and there are some very funny TV interviews with her.
