I’m a Mormon You Asshole
If there’s one thing I can never be accused of, it’s being politically correct. Sure, if I was to go back and rethink some of the things I’ve said I would probably prefer that I hadn’t said them, but I’ve always been a blurt it out now, worry about it later kinda guy.
In a recent chat board discussion about Mitt Romney’s ignorance of the Internet and his apparent tongue slip in a recent anti-porn speech in which he said, “YouTube is a website that allows kids to network with one another and make friends and contact each other,” (he meant MySpace) I replied that “Expecting a Mormon to have a grasp on modern technology is like expecting a lesbian to know what to do with a dick.” Yes, I realize that it’s an overly broad generalization and an insult to the few Mormon’s that actually do have a grasp on technology, and I apologize to all three of them. Just in case a few lesbians take offense, I apologize to them too.
In due course, someone came along with the perfectly succinct and yet totally inappropriate response, “I’m a Mormon, you asshole”. I’m guessing that since the person that posted the reply did so while using a computer they felt they had proven their point, but I’m pretty sure that response would not be endorsed by the church or Mitt Romney.

Are you mistaking Mormons for Amish people, because the Mormon religion has nothing to do with “grasping modern technology” I’ve heard a lot of stupid sterotypes about Mormons but that was one of the dumbest. Mitt Romney is not like the embodiment of every Mormon out there and just because he doesnt know the difference between youtube and myspace doesnt mean mormons still use candles to light their homes and ride around in horse drawn buggies. Theres even a site called MormonMyspace. I guess you just don’t know any Mormons

Nope, I’m not confused and I do know some Mormons. I never said anything about the Mormon religion shunning modern technology, I said Mormons (the people) don’t understand it. The same as they don’t understand the Bible.
