Cool idea but then you’d have to use these things in all orifices large enough to allow a penis. It’s sort of a malicious weapon when you think about it, instead of preventing it waits until a attacker attempts to rape surprising him in a rather unpleasant fashion. I don’t think this would work very well in the real world. Most rapists do what they do because they like to dominate or control women. If you think about it the woman would probably not be in a position to run or fight back in the first place if the guy got far enough to stick his dick in. The woman would probably be in a locked room, tied up or restrained in some other way. The women in the third world countries this would probably help probably can’t afford it.

Actually, this is a good idea, but it really needs to be improved.
The only way to make this device work I see in putting some drugs inside teeth, which will put the rapist asleep immediately for at list one hour. It should work as soon as it punched the skin when rapist inserts his finger or penis.
This can give a time for a woman to escape or to call for help.
Of course, it has to be safe for women.
I gave you an idea and if you like it just think how to design it.

Once the rapist ends up in this thing, his attention is going to be drastically redirected from the victim to his newly shredded unit. Not all rapists are willing to murder or are even armed, so I could see it playing out that the distraction will give an opportunity for those victims to escape. Pretty risky though. I look at that thing and I think of two points that concern me from a health standpoint alone. 1 toxic shock syndrome is probably a very high factor with one of those things not to mention all the other kinds of bacterial infection that are possible with something like that. 2 this is designed for Africa, which has a very high rape rate, but also has a very high AIDS rate and something like that is probably going to cause some bleeding on the rapists part. Besides the myriad of other reasons this is a terrible idea, putting something in that completely blocks the vagina for a long period of time causes Toxic Shock Syndrome. Read the warning insert on any tampon box. If you can’t leave a tampon in for more than six hours, you certainly shouldn’t leave a nonporous plastic form-fitting Rapex in.

As with any invention (knives, fireworks, dynamite, etc), there IS the potential for misuse, and this is nothing more than a very wicked knife that only women can use. Yes, my wife could get pissed at me and potentially shred my member with one of these, but if she thought I deserved it I should A) not be a bad husband/boyfriend, or B) seriously rethink my analysis of behavior, because the bitch is f’kin CRAZY! If it was a shot to the balls, it would easily be over 99% effective, so you’re counting pretty much on the bleeding from this one (exceedingly vascular) organ to stop the guy. I’ll agree, it’s good that there’s some thought going into the horrible things going on every day, but this is the surgeon’s saw; the real solution is a long way off.

I love some of the neo-feminist comment on here about how all men are scum and deserve to be killed, maimed, etc etc etc….. I don’t think there is any problem with this product. Some people are saying it will enrage the rapist leading to the brutal beating/killing of the victim. Well, if you’re worried about that… then DON’T buy it. This product will be perfect for women (or men) who know a thing or two about self-defense. Once the rapist recoils in pain (which he will, unless he is on PCP) the victim will have the perfect chance to take them down.
