Her cell phone in one hand and a drink in the other, Paris Hilton lies dead — provocatively posed in a position she spent much of her life in — on the slab. I warn you, the video is graphic.

Sculptor Daniel Edwards, the controversial artist that gave the world a sculpture of Britney Spears giving birth on her hands and knees, and Suri Cruise’s bronzed first poop, unveiled his latest sculpture at the Capla Kesting Fine Arts gallery in New York on May 11th.

The work, in polyester resin, has removable innards and according to the artist, is intended to warn teens about the dangers of drinking and driving. Edwards began work on the sculpture in January, after the party girl’s arrest for violating the terms of her probation in a drunk driving case.

High school students are encouraged to take an online virtual tour of the exhibit and compete for prizes by writing an obituary for the ‘dead’ Paris Hilton at ParisHiltonAutopsy.com.

The sculpture is for sale for an undisclosed sum. I have no interest in this sculpture, but I would consider purchasing the pre-autopsy clay model. He can keep the dog though.

Paris Hilton’s spokesman has had no comment.
