Porn Star Syvette Wimberly Stole Name From High School Friend
Suppose you had a friend in high school that went on to become a porn star and she decided to use your name as her stage name. Suddenly your name is appearing on DVD covers with titles like, Craving Big Cocks, Young Cheerleaders Swap ‘n Swallow, and Cuties Who Go All Ways. Would you be pissed and worry people might think it was you or would you be flattered?

Kristen Syvette Wimberly, 25, of Houston, Texas is suing Lara Madden and film distributor Vivid Entertainment Group, asking that they stop using and publicizing her name.
Madden, 25, began her career as a porn star in 2004 and has appeared in a dozen films using the name Syvette Wimberly. Her attorney says that his client simply liked the name and never meant any harm.
Ms. Wimberly became aware of the situation when friends started asking about her porn career. It’s not known if she’s asking for money, but she claims she simply wants Madden to stop using the name, although Madden’s attorney says she is no longer performing in porn films.
Ms. Madden says she will stop using Wimberly’s name if that’s all she wants, but if they’re after money, she doesn’t have any.
Vivid Entertainment has not been served yet so I’m not sure what is being accomplished here, since the existing 12 movies are still being distributed and Madden is no longer acting in porn. It seems to me that all Ms. Wimberly has accomplished is to bring even more attention to the issue, because thanks to the news, the Internet, and people like me, Syvetter Wimberly is about to become a household name.

Just remember, if you decide to be a porn star, don’t use your friend’s name as your fake name. If it wasn’t already obvious that it is a stupid idea, it should be now. Duh.

Thats even her on the cover. She picked a terrible name. Maybe Syvette Wimberly’s next movie shoudl be a spy one where she goes under covers with the CIA. Laura Madden would have been a better name i agree. Her boyfriend and her Alan Premel need to do a movie together it would probably sell better than swap n swallow. COuld you imagine the buzz it would generate, her cumming back (no pun intended) with a CIA basass pounding her.
