Sexy Nurses Raise Blood Pressure

Let’s say that you owned a Hooters styled, themed restaurant called the Heart Attack Grill and had items on the menu like the Quadruple Bypass Burger and Flatliner Fries and you wanted to really play up the theme by having your waitresses dress appropriately. What do you think you might have them dress like? How about nurses?

It’s a no brainer and exactly what Heart Attack Grill owner, Jon Basso did. But, guess what? Yep, some people are complaining about it. Several nurses have filed complaints with the Arizona attorney general’s office.

Sandy Summers, the executive director of the Center for Nursing Advocacy says, “Nurses are the most sexually fantasized-about profession. We’re asking people, if they’re going to have these fantasies, please don’t make it so public. Move these sexual fantasies to other professions.”

Let me know when you’ve stopped laughing and I’ll continue.

Move our sexual fantasies to another profession? Maybe like, assembly line workers or dry cleaners? Men also fantasize about school teachers, maids and female cops and I really hope they don’t mind, because picturing a scantily clad DMV clerk just doesn’t work for me.

Personally I agree with Basso who says, “If anything, I think it glorifies nurses to be thought of as a physically attractive and desirable individual. There’s a Faye Dunaway, Florence Nightingale hipness to it. Nobody wants to think of themselves as some old battle ax who changes bedpans for a living.”

The attorney general’s office doesn’t agree with us though and they wrote Basso informing him that he was illegally using the word “nurse” on his website. They claim that only someone with a valid nursing license can use the title “nurse”.

Basso now adds the following disclaimer anytime he uses the word “nurse”. “The use of the word ‘nurse’ above is only intended as a parody. None of the women pictured on our Web site actually have any medical training, nor do they attempt to provide any real medical services. It should be made clear that the Heart Attack Grill and its employees do NOT offer any therapeutic treatments (aside from laughter) whatsoever.”

As is usual in cases like this, Basso says that the complaints have actually been good for business.

Hey, the next time I’m in the hospital and I slap my nurse on the ass and tell her what great cans she has, I hope instead of being offended, she’ll give me a blowjob. Oops, sorry, I guess I should move my fantasy to another profession.

Thanks for the tip, Ryan. Source: Associated Press

I don’t know what these nurses are complaining about, as a prostitute you don’t hear me complaining that people dress up as me every year on Halloween.
