StumbleUpon is a web browser plugin that allows you to find web pages, photos and videos that match your personal preferences and have been recommended by over 2.3 million users. The StumbleUpon Scavenger Hunt

I thought a scavenger hunt would be a good way to introduce StumbleUpon to you and show you what a valuable tool it is. Those of you that are already using StumbleUpon are welcome to play too. If all goes well, we’ll have these hunts regularly.

I’ve made this first scavenger hunt fairly easy, but subsequent hunts will become more difficult and the prizes more valuable.

The rules:

1. You will either need to be a registered StumbleUpon user or sign up and install the StumbleUpon toolbar.

2. Visit the 5 blogs listed below and find the posts that go with the 5 items.

3. Give each post a Thumbs Up when you find it, which will add it to your StumbleUpon favorites.

4. When you have found and given a Thumbs Up to all 5 posts in the list, send an email to me at stumble AT hammeruncut DOT com with the following information:
(1) Your StumbleUpon page URL. Example - mine is http://hammeruncut.stumbleupon.com/
(2) The URLs of the 5 blog posts from the list along with the date and time that you gave them a thumbs up, which you can find on your personal StumbleUpon site.

6. The first person to follow the rules correctly and find all 5 pages in the list will win a $50 gift certificate from Amazon.com.
