Tell the World on MySpace
Jonathan Pilkerton has a MySpace page like millions of other people and like most of those people he uses his MySpace page to talk about himself. Unfortunately for his 20-year old brother Michael, he liked to talk about their homegrown marijuana crop and brag about how often they personally tested the quality of their product, so Michael was arrested and charged with felony drug distribution.
Apparently Jonathan was under the impression that MySpace is only frequented by teenagers, but surprise, surprise, his page was also read by Suffolk, VA police who subsequently used an informant to make three purchases from Michael during the last few months, which led to his arrest.
Here’s a tip. If you participate in an illegal activity, don’t brag about it on your MySpace page or video tape yourself in the act and post the video on YouTube. Following my advice won’t make a career as a rocket scientist any more likely, but it might help you avoid spending your life making license plates.

I had a blog on MySpace for a while, but I couldn’t get arrested.
