The Brother Can’t Drive; Crashes Ferrari

eddie griffinComedian, Eddie Griffin, should stick to comedy and leave racing cars to… well, people that know how to race cars. Griffin told reporters, “The brother’s good at karate and all the rest of that, but the brother can’t drive.” Too bad he didn’t tell the car’s owner before he wrecked the car.

Griffin was practicing for a celebrity charity race tied to his upcoming movie, Redline, when he lost control in a turn and crashed the rare Ferarri he was driving into a barrier. The producer, and car owner, Daniel Sadek, estimates the value of the car at $1.2 million, but says he’s just glad that Griffin wasn’t hurt. Yeah, right.

Sadek put up $26 million of his own money to make Redline, and has already allowed one of his two $200,000 Porsches to be destroyed in a scene. Now, add to that the fact that he let a brother that admits he can’t drive (and we all know brothers can’t drive anyway), drive his rare Ferrari in a charity race and you have a perfect case of someone having more money than brains… or as we like to say ’round these here parts… shit for brains.

The owner has lots of brain in fact. This
accident has boosted the film a lot more
than any other possible way, considering
the same amount of money necessary to
fix the car.
