The Illegal Immigration Solution
A lot of people in this country — especially the ones that live near borders — have a problem with illegal immigrants. I can’t say that I like the idea of giving them free medical care when I have to pay thousands for health insurance, but I wonder how much oranges would cost if we had to pay Americans to pick them.
Here’s a video explaining one solution to the problem.
There was a video of Carlos Mencia’s solution here, but it’s been removed from YouTube for copyright infringement.

Why I Don’t Like Mexicans in the United States
I like Mexicans in Mexico. I just don’t like them in the U.S. Could it be that something happens to them when they arrive here; like some magical, but completely diametric transformation? Something that changes them from the nice, peaceful, friendly, respectful people that you love to visit on your vacations south of the border, and turns them into the ugly, needy, greedy, demanding, racist, name-calling, law-breaking, disrespectful, foul-mouthed miscreants that you see - everywhere? My personal theory is that the good, decent, respectful citizens of Mexico are still in Mexico! We’re getting the dregs. We’re getting the ones who are not of the caliber it takes to stay and tough it out and make things work. Or, better yet, stay to fight to change their government and make it better and less corrupt. We’re getting the ones who are weak of character, and will always choose to take the easy way out. Over the border, the table is already laid out, and; thanks to Bush and his cohorts, the dinner bell has rung. All they have to do is show up at the trough. No effort on their part is required. So what if it means breaking the law? Is it any wonder our crime rates have skyrocketed astronomically? Sure, we have other similar types of people breaking into our country, and if our government were not derelict in their duty, they would all be gone; not just the Mexicans. And we’re to believe that these people will somehow be an asset to the U.S.? All I see are the liabilities, and I see plenty of them.
Not only do they violate our laws, they offer no apology for doing so. Some even think it is their birthright. As if any of us could just go on over to any country IN THE WORLD and do what they’re doing. When we have the temerity to complain about this onslaught, these interlopers further offend us by calling us racists. As if they have to worry about a whole race of people invading THEIR country, taking their jobs, promising to outbreed them out of existence, threatening to change their Government by electing people with only THEIR interests and agendas. What is so maddening to me, is that either they are so dense that they genuinely don’t get how this can really make Americans angry, or they are so corrupt and rotten that they really don’t care, or both. They just take, take, take, and demand, demand, demand, and complain, complain, complain.
Case in Point: When Lou Dobbs of CNN tried to explain to members of Latin American support groups, LULAC and MALDEF, on 10-25-06, at a Town Hall Meeting in San Antonio, TX, that the U.S. can’t continue to afford to feed and provide healthcare for these millions and millions of illegals, and that they are lowering the standards in our schools, they responded with quips such as, “no one is an illegal”, and “building a fence is racist”. They could care less how much harm they cause our country! All they cared about was how the word “illegal” and the Fence Bill made them feel. Those selfish people made me so angry, I was just beside myself.
When I think of what I was taught in school; with regards to being responsible inhabitants of the planet. We were taught about the population-explosion, and caring for the environment. Now, I see that within 50 years, we will have about DOUBLED our population, thanks to these rampantly-breeding invaders. The environmental consequences are something I don’t even want to think about. When I do think about it, I think of Mexico City times 100 all across this beautiful country. Because if we can’t even muster up the will as a nation to impeach this impotent and traitorous president, to stop the stream of illegals pouring in, then why should anyone have any faith in the EPA, the FDA, the USDA, the Dept. of the Interior, or any other government agency?
A fence bill with no teeth is a joke. I’m happy about it, but I’m not holding my breath on seeing it being employed anytime soon.
A disheartened patriotic U.S. legal citizen

Thanks for your well thought out and eloquently written comment, Pebbles. I think you’ve made some rather broad generalizations though. I know quite a few very nice and respectable Mexicans. Coincidentally, we’re having our house painted and I was talking to the contractor last night and he told me his Mexican crew outperforms his ‘white’ crew by a significant amount.
I’d have to say that I’m sitting on the fence (pun intended) on the whole immigration issue. In general I believe that if you want to work and live in this country you should pay taxes just like everyone else, but I do have to put myself in their shoes and wonder what I would do to feed my family. I doubt I would let a fence stop me if I had no choice.
Of course, Mexicans aren’t the only illegal immigrants and the U.S. Mexico border is not the only one we patrol. Although I will say that I doubt we have a big Canadian problem. We’ve got Cubans and Haitians coming into Florida by the boat load and I seriously doubt that every Asian in this country is here legally.

Hammer,
You’re right. I let my emotions guide my comments. I’d like to modify my comments to say that I agree that there are many fine Americans of Mexican ancestory. I also know some fine Mexicans and Guatamalans born in those countries, but who immigrated here legally. They worked very hard, and are stellar examples of what their people can become. I focus on Mexicans for many reasons. First, there are many more of them here by far than from any other country (to my knowledge). 2) They are the ones I saw thumbing their noses at Americans, while waving their Mexican flags during those marches last May, 3) They refuse to assimilate, insisting on us bending to their will - regarding bi-lingual media and reading materials, 4) They make numerous demands on our society and court system for rights they haven’t earned, and don’t deserve, 5) They revert to cheap name-calling (racist) whenever anyone opposes illegal immigration in any forum. This, by the way, is the height of hypocrisy, if you know anything about their Latino-only organizations. Take La Raza, for example. “The Race” Their lovely motto, paraded during those enlightening marches last spring, was “Todo la Raza! Fuerza la Raza, Nada!” Which means, “Everything for the Race! For those outside the Race, Nothing!” I don’t think it gets any more racist than that. La Raza has cleaned up their website since the mTarches, but you can still get an eyeful on such websites as, www.mexica-movement.org, www.aztlan.net, www.panam.edu/orgs/mecha. They spout this lovely hate rhetoric at our taxpayer-subsidized colleges, as well.
One can look at things either as in a microcosm (One of my best friends is Mexican, so they must be OK), or as the big picture; the reality of 20, 30, 40…..100…180,000,000 illegal Mexicans crossing our borders looking for jobs we don’t have (we already have people in this country needing work). We outsource our manufacturing jobs already, so I don’t know where these jobs are supposed to come from(?). And, we sure as heck can’t afford to subsidize these people on welfare, while Mexico (A WEALTHY COUNTRY) is laughing all the way to the bank! Mexico, and it’s citizens who come here, are all being rewarded for bad behavior, and it’s Joe and Betty sixpack who are and will pay for it. Not just in term of tax revenues either.
And no, they aren’t the only ones coming in illegally. We Americans need to get together somehow, and make these agencies do their jobs!! Apathy is lethal.
Thanks!

Here is how I have always responded to liberals/socialists/leftists , (you get the idea), and I think it will also apply to pro-illegal immigration proponents:
Simply put, LIVE what you say you believe in. A true liberal that spouts marxist/leftist/socialist theology should be more than happy to pay most, if not all of their income into the “commune” (i.e communism) and in turn let the elite within the government (who are exempt from the rules they enforce) decide what programs and to whom that money they earned should go to. Those pro-illegal immigration proponents (the vast majority of which are from the liberal left) should also LIVE what they state they believe in. The liberal left states that Americans who oppose illegal immigration are “racist”. The liberal left states that we need to “take care of those less fortunate who enter here illegally”. The liberal left states we need to provide welfare benefits (cash, food, shelter, medical, education etc) and turn America into a communist/socialist utopia for those who wish to be taken care of. This will do two things: 1. Make those of the liberal left feel better about themselves. 2. Create a huge power base for the “elite” who will control this vast communist/socialist empire. After all, no one is going to bite the hand that feeds them right? So, with these points in mind I strongly suggest we have a test period where the leftist/liberal/socialist/communist/marxists be allowed to bring a family of illegal immigrants from mexico into their own home for 1 year. These pro-illegal immigration volunteers will be required to feed, house, provide medical care, provide education, cash OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET TO BE RECIEVED FREELY FROM THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT FAMILY. In addition, the pro-illegal sponsor will be required to speak and learn the language of the illegal immigrant family. (note: all members of the ACLU will be required to sponsor an illegal immigrant family out of their own pockets automatically). After one year, the pro-illegal immigrant sponsor will be asked again if they feel its the obligation of Americans to embrace illegal immigrants. I think its a good starting point and when this volunteer program is over we can applaud the pro-illegal immigrant sponsor and let them sponsor, pay for and be held personally responsible for the illegal immigrant family for life. Sound like a fair and impartial plan? We are simply giving them an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is !!

The obvious solution to the illegal immigration problem is to fine employers $500,000.00 for each illegal immigrant they hire and fine private citizens $50,000 for each illegal immigrant they hire. At the same time, all money wire transfers from Western Union and all money orders from the US Postal Service directed to foreign sources will be suspended. In the case of Mexico, 15-18 billion dollars a year will be lost.
The real question is why these policies have never been implemented and why so few politicians pay so little lip service to any variations of these proposals. Trying to answer this question will lead you to the murky waters of large US companies providing employment information to the Mexican government, for example, to draw a cheaper and more compliant, non-union labor force to their company and area. There is a government office in Mexico City devoted entirely to the distribution of this information. The influence of billions of dollars from the drug trade cannot be underestimated as to the effects of US policy towards Mexico and other countries. The corrupting influence of drug money has and still influences our foreign policy and most certainly our domestic policies from the lowest echelons of government to the highest. This level of corruption has been well documented for over 40 years.

I was reading a site that is slightly similar to this
one and there was a rant on illegal immagrants. I think he made some very good points. And I totally agree with him.
Immigrants do the bottom work that no one else wants to do.. they are the bottom blocks of our economy. Guess what? We need the base or else we would crumble. Besides, what do they think is going to happen? Because no they are not going to take over, and even if they did, so what?
The americans did the same thing 500 years ago to the natives. Talk about karma bitches.

Well, we could fix this really fast if we did a couple simple things.
1. Abolish citizenship just because you are born on US soil. No, if your mother was here illegally, you go home with her.
2. Quit giving free medical and public assistance to illegals. If it is established that they can’t pay their way, send them home.
3. Focus less on the fences and the borders. Pick up the illegals at the welfare offices and free clinics and send them home.
4. Quit requiring schools to teach in foreign languages. Force immigrant children to assimilate into the general society and not an immigrant society.
5. Reserve all of these above rights and priviliges for legal immigrants. Require legal immigrants to have a skill we need and that they have a demonstrable abliity to earn an income equal to sustain their own way.
This is really simple stuff really, so what if nobody picks oranges. We can probably let the oranges be grown in the immigrants country and then imported here. That way they stay a thome happy picking oranges, we have orange juice and orange farmers here can get off the welfare of immigrant labor. That’s what this is really, welfare for the farm industry. We can just pay them not to harvest oranges, the same way we pay them not to grow wheat, produce milk etc. Or, maybe the farmers could be a little productive and learn to cope without subsidized labor.
