Jay Leno will be after this baby to park next to his McLaren F1. Absolutely invigorating! You would never be able to open it like that unless you were on a closed specialized track like the Volkswagen track. It would still be nice to know you had the ponies and the gearing to get there if you really wanted to. Just make sure your life insurance is paid up! I love this car.

I have read a lot about this car in various write ups. It is a limited production car. And there is no 2 wheel middle of the class type superbike that can even come close to this car. A top of the class superbike would do that speed, but not a middle of the road bike. And you would not be able to sustain it for very long. The stress on the human body is just to high for safety factors. I have done 190mph in my corvette and that is quick. After 130mph you get tunnel vision. So I can only imagine doing 253mph! And to think you can only do 253mph for 12 minutes because you run out of gas!! Did I hear anyone say “CANONBALL RUN!” Jay Leno will be buying one for sure even at 1.7 million dollars. Chump change for him!

Suzuki Hayabusa + turbo = top speed of around 269 miles per hour.

You’re right Jake. The recorded top world record speed was set in 2005 on a Suzuki Hayabusa with a turbocharger. The speed set was 261. I can’t imagine going that speed with your body exposed to the wind without flying off the bike.

A new car may have just taken the record though, but it’s nowhere near as awesome looking or as sexy as the Bugatti. The Barabus TKR is reported to do 270.

maybe you could get a bike as fast but this thing would still out accelaerate it easily and beat it any race, you would’nt get the power down on the road as quick on 2 wheels like this 4 wheel drive monster. this would be gone long beofre the bike got anywher near catching it

This car is amazing to say the least I have actually gotten the privlage of getting a ride in one. My dad works for a guy named Don ______ who go the very 1st one in USA. Oh and jrrhodes even if you won the lotto good luck getting not all have even been built yet and everyone they are going to make already has a buyer.

Zeb, you my friend, are a moron. The fastest motorcycle is the Suzuki Hayabusa which tops out between 192 and 197 mph.
Streamliners on the other hand are a different story. But you would be comparing apples to oranges.

Actually the Suzuki Hayabusa 1999 version has no inhibitor chip, so it tops out at 220 mph. Still can’t quite match the veyron, but it could make for a good race.

I work for suzuki racing team, and do a lot of work with road bikes. a standard non turbo gsxr-1300 hayabusa will EAT a veyron of the lights, sorry guys seen it done!!!!
