Waiting for the Dead to Rise
Bibhisan Majhi is sitting next to his dead son in Bhejapadar, India, waiting for him to come back to life. He says he’s getting used to the smell, but he’s worried that by the time he does wake up, his nose might have fallen off.

His son, Arun Majhi, 21, died last Thursday, after being bitten by a snake, and was buried. But, two days later his mother dreamed that her son could come back to life, so on Sunday, the family had Bibhisan’s body exhumed and hired Natabara Sahu, a local witch doctor, to bring the young man back to life.
His mother said, “Yes, we realize when he comes back to life that he will smell bad and look a bit rotten and he might move a bit slower than he used to, but at least I’ll have my son back.” The man’s father agreed and added, “We just hope he won’t try to eat our brains.”

Only two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I’m not so sure about the former.
